Dave and Raymond in Reality

So, Lately, I (Dark DJ) have been very busy bidding on Ebay and generally slightly buying things that some would shrug at, and some, like my Missus, would get absoultely furious about. However, I brought something a few nights ago that I thought could be to my advantage...

Whilst casually browing Ebay, a Le Wild LMS Liveried Black Five popped up, with an hour to go before it was sold. At this time, I was debating wether to buy a Dapol Standard 4MT, but this Black Five really tempted me, mainly because it could easily be comverted into an early version of TDRS' Main Character, "Dave".

The model was, unfortunately, numbered 5026, but no matter, today, I went out and purchased some LMS transfers, and, after an entire afternoon of work, ended up with No 5101...

So, here is the model as it arrived, as 5026...

...And here is the final result, No 5101 "Dave" ...

Whilst at the model shop, I also managed to pick up some BR Diesel Transfers, and as I had brought and denumbered a Class 47 a month ago, I decided to create...

No 47527, "Raymond"!

So far, these are the only pieces of modelling I have ever done, but I feel a sense of accomplishment, as I feel I did a good job on them. Have a gander at the images above and draw your own conclusions...

Well, it's finally here! "Event Horizon", The Dark Railway Series' first ever Feature Length Film, is finally here, in it's whole 1 Hour and Fifteen Minute Glory!



Dave, Brian, Raymond, Theo and Otto star in the first "The Dark Railway Series" feature length film!

When the Dark Railway's Tank Engine Twins start tinkering the the mere fabric of existance, they land themselves and their friends in an unimaginable and ridiculous situation!

Now, the five engines must set out on their first full length adventure, searching for dangerous materials, battling deadly foes, making new friends, and learning what it takes to be a true Dark Railway engine!

Thank you to Everyone who has been involved with the creation and fine tuning of "Event Horizon".
